BENNETTS of Kilwinning's commuter express service between Glasgow and Largs starts on Monday next week, with three return journeys on weekdays and two on Saturdays.
The service, which complements a service established already from Ardrossan to Glasgow, was authorised in spite of substantial opposition by established operators (CM, February 5).
It caters only for passengers travelling between North Ayrshire and Glasgow, with single fares of £1 and E1.50 for the different towns at the Ayrshire end.
