Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SINCE work started on their first lightweight semi-trailer five months ago (The Commercial Motor, December 4, 1964), T. W. Walker Ltd., of Lanehouse Garage, Thornaby Road, Thornaby-onTees, report a very lively response from operators keen to take advantage of the ability to handle increased payloads. Mr. W. Milburn is in charge of trailer design and manufacture.

Pictured above is a Walker 33-ft. tandem-axle semi-trailer to carry 20 tons; with hardwood floor and triple-line braking system it has an unladen weight of 3 tons 2 cwt. Also shown is a 33-ft. single-axle semi-trailer with an unladen weight of 2 tons 1 cwt., which is said to be carrying 14-ton loads regularly for a Middlesbrough carrier.

A feature of a 50-ft. semi-trailer which will be used to carry steel is that one of the frame cross-members incorporates the hydraulics system air tank.
