THE Minister of Transport last week I promised to consider a suggestion that he should ban from motorways battery-driven commercial vehicles with a top speed of less than 40 m.p.h.
G.L.C. Traffic Manager WHEN the Greater London Council YV takes over in April as the traffic authority of London, assuming the Ministry of Transport's current responsibilities in this respect, it will already have a traffic manager. He is Mr. E. S. Ainley, who has been seconded from the Ministry, where he has been an assistant secretary working in particular on traffic management problems.
