MR. E. A. AUST has succeeded MR. W. F. ELFORD as chief engineer of the Adelaide Municipal Tramways Trust. He was formerly chief engineer of the Calcutta Tramways Co., Ltd.
D. A. P. C. CUMMING has joined the board of the John Bull Rubber Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd. MR. W .KNox, who has represented the John Bull Rubber Co., Ltd. for nine years, has taken an appointment with Clarkson and Co. (Scotland), Ltd.
M. B. A. CHENGAPA has been appointed assistant liaison executive in India by Perkins Engines, Ltd. He will co-operate with Simpson and Co.; Ltd.. Madras, who manufacture Perkins engines under licence, and departments of the Indian Government, MR. F. B. FORD. formerly transport manager with co-operative societies at Colwyn Bay and Burnley, has been appointed manager of the Long Eaton Co-operative Society's 112 vehicles. He succeeds MR. FRANK TREBUIT, who has retired after 51 years with the Society.
MR. H. R. STOCKS has been appointed executive engineer of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd. MR. J. H. ALDEN becomes assistant chief engineer of commercial vehicles and MR. D. G. PERKINS has been appointed assistant chief engineer of administration. MR. K. M. EATON has taken the place of MR. G. F. TIPLER, -general supply manager, who is retiring.
