Jones was in a hurry, and a heavy vehicle carrying no rear-view mirror blocked the narrow country road completely.
He sounded his horn continuously for minutes on end, but the offending vehicle simply slowed down a little and still occupied the -fairway. In the next village Jones drew abreast and spoke mind.
" Lor ! " said the driver, "Was that you ? If 'card y' orlright RAI' slowed dawn to pick up the tune. I thought sorne'n was brardcahsting a cornet solo."
