FURTHER NEWS OF THE NEW " RESERVE " SCHEDULE VV/E understand that the Man-power VV Boards, which will consider the applications for reservation (Form N.S. 300), will consist of a Chairman, a Labour-supply Officer, a Military Recruiting Officer and a Deferment Officer. There will be no appeal from the decision of such a Board.

In cases where a man considers it essential to have his call-up postponed for urgent family or business reasons, his case will be submitted to a Hardship Committee.

The form N.S. 300 can be regarded as a personal one, and should be completed and sent off at least 15 days before the date, of dereservation. Where .a form concerns, say, a partner in a firm, he can either sign the form himself or on behalf of the firm.

It is of the utmost importance that every man concerned should ascertain that he has registered his occupation correctly. If there be any doubt, he should at once apply to the labour exchange where the registration was effected, and give full details of his occupation. Some, through ignorance, have registered in incorrect categories.
