Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I Price: 120.050 Engine: 2.0-litre, 138ho Payload: i ,108kg Mileage: 3.280 miles Expenses: £0.00 Faults: None Average fuel economy: 33.7mpg , The new Volkswagen Tnmsporter enters service this month and C: are looking forward to putting it through its paces. Our vehicle is the 138hp Transporter T30 with DSG gearbox and bright sunset orange paintjob.

Over the coming months, we'll be assessing whether or not automatic transmission makes sense on a light commercial vehicle (LCV) and if it has as positive an effect on fuel consumption as claimed by VW Volkswagen's current DSG gearbox is arguably one the most advanced automated transmissions around. DSG is essentially two manual gearboxes, each with it own separate clutch, housed in one single casing. One 'box contains the odd-numbered gears (1, 3, 5, and 7). while the other contains the even-numbered gears (2, and 6) — the idea is that there's no loss of power betwe gearchanges as the next gear up, or down, is already primed and ready.

Given the sudden rise in popularity of automated transmissions in the heavy truck sector, it was only a matter of time before LCVs followed suit. We've only a week in our new orange VW but everything is as we expected: smooth ride, quality interior and versatile loadspace.

In the weeks that follow, we'll keep you up-to-date the Transporter's progress and whether that seven-sp. DSG is all it's cracked up to be.
