Anyone making the step from driving a car or van to a 7.5-tonner would have little problem with the Atego.

Even though we tested the basic spec model we found it more than adequate, although we would appreciate a CD player in place of the cassette!

Daf's market leader, the LF45, provides the Atego with some strong competition and still holds our fuel record. Payload for the Atego is also less than some of its competitors, but in exchange for that you do get a well assembled, solid truck, and a longer service life plus excellent residuals would offset any loss in productivity.
