LDV HAS UNVEILED its Maxus chassis-cab range. including a tipper and dropside both versions are due to go on sale in September.

Built by Ingirnex, the bodies will be part of a ready-to-roll package available off the line; they will be joined by a Luton and box van.

Payload is up to 1,330kg for the tipper and 1,520kg for the dropside. The company has also launched a third power output from its 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine to join the existing 118 and 94hp rating& The new 133hp version is available on both chassis-cab variants.

LDV's performance since its Russian takeover has certainly been impressive.

Chief executive Steve Young reports: "Maxus registrations are up by 76% compared with last year, and we've increased the line rate by some 80%."
