Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN AN AI 1 EMPT to avoid delays at bodybuilders and provide a whole-vehicle warranty for operators. Scania has launched the Scania Complete Box.

This is the first of a range of fully built-up trucks the company will be offering on its chassis.

They will be supplied direct from the existing dealer network and will be supported by its standard two-year warranty.

The GRP box body is only available at a length of 26ft. The chassis is prepared at the factory for body fitting and a network of dealers and bodybuilders have been approved for fitting the bodies.

A Ratcliff Tuckaway tail-lift is available as an option. In addition to the new box, a curtainsider and a standardised hook-loader will be added to the Complete vehicle range in the coming months.

This initiative marks a clear intention by Scania to move beyond the supply of truck chassis to the UK market.

It has also launched its Total Transport Solution initiative, a range of 29 products and services covering everything from complete vehicles and alternative fuels to driver training, fleet management, finance, rental trucks and clothing.

"Increasingly we are seeing that transport operators are looking for a complete transport solution," says Pugh. "And they are looking for one supplier to provide it. This is the position Scania is occupying."
