• The Vehicle Inspectorate is showing a keen interest in mobile brake testers and one system that has already been trialled is the Danish-made BM 20200 supplied by VL Test Systems of Buckingham. It needs a three-phase supply and can be used to brake-test axle: up to 15 tonnes. The display car show brake imbalances, drun ovality, efficiencies, air pros sums and pedal force; it alsr check-weighs using six boar cells.
