Beissbarth Automotive has aunched what it believes is the vorld's first voice-controlled wtomatic wheel alignment iystem.
Technicians tell the system vhich values should be disrlayed via a headset; the conrol system then carries out a :omplete alignment check, Icluding steering lock angles if equired.
The Microline 5000 has four infrared measuring sensors, each with two CCD cameras. There are no leads or cables; the eight-track toe-sensing system creates a closed 360° measurement zone around the vehicle and all suspension data is displayed on a colour monitor.
If the screen is out of sight the Microline 5000 even tells the technician when the correct value has been reached.
