• Following a slump in sales last year, Nissan UK has stopped importing its range of Spanish-built Ebro sixand 7.5tonne GVW trucks and panel vans.
Fewer than 500 have been sold since the range was introduced in 1982, and the NissanEbro marketing subsidiary established to sell the vehicles has been wound-up.
Missan's light CV sales this year have almost doubled, boosted by the arrival of extra diesel Urvan and Cabstar models and the Ebro Trade Van.
Until the end of March, Nissan sold 2,198 vehicles compared with 1,138 in the same period last year.
