LORRIES and buses spanning more than 60 years of transport will be driven in convoy from Chester to Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, on May 18. The oldest will be a 1 91 8 Fiat.
At Tatton Park the veterans will form a strong contrast with more than 1 00 of the latest commercial vehicles which will be seen in the Northern Truck Show from May 15-18.
The motorcade is part of a weekend (May 1 7-1 8) of mechanised frolics sponsored by IVECO (UK) and organised by the North Cheshire Historic Vehicle Group. Let's hope the snow keeps off.
