Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Renault VI and Daf are planning to co-operate on selected components for their new generation of middleweight trucks in the 6-19-tonne GINV range.

Discussions are at an early stage, but the components could include anything from a fuel tank to the cab, engine and transmission for the Renault Premium Distribution range and for the Leyland Daf 45 and 55 replacement models.

The fruits of the agreement could be only 18 months away----the possible launch date for Renault's 2.36m narrowtrack lightweight truck.

There are no plans to produce a joint vehicle; marketing, sales, servicing and distribution will remain within the respective dealer networks.

The agreement will not affect Oaf and Leyland Trucks' relationship in assembling Daf 45 and 55 Series n-icks at Leyland.
