The 18ft tandem-axle trailer was stolen from Cleanfight Industrial Services in Dale Street, &Osten, near Wolverhampton at about noon on Sunday (210ctoberl.

A Bilston police spokesman says: "The trailer contained 10 blue drums of caustic and hydrochloric acid and the thieves could be in for a shock because they could get burned by the substance and ever' be affected by strong fumes.

"We are anxious to trace the trailer and its contents," he says, "because of the dangers and the fear that members the public could be affected they find the drums."

A Cleanlight spokes= says: "The trailer is mainly bli and was on hire to us. T1 trailer was locked up on ot premises but the thieves brol open a gate and the trailer WE towed away. Some people si they saw a red estate car dr ving from the premises."
