• The Willhire Group, which has been in receivership since September (CM 13-19 September) has been sold to Willcliffe Holdings, a company set up specifically for the acquisition.
However, the two Willhire car dealerships have been sold separately to their managing director, Paul Heifer, who now leaves the Willhire Group, taking the dealerships' 80 staff with him.
Willcliffe has acquired Willhire, Willhire Vehicle Contracts and the computer arm, Willpower, securing 140 jobs.
