page (CM 4-10 October) to remind people that Pioneer Aggregates (UK) has launched a national policy which means truckers leaving my client's quarries with processed aggregate must "sheet up" as
part of the company's commitment to the environment.
Pioneer is pleased that another company is adopting a sheeting policy, but I would like to point out that our press release clearly stated that the new policy was: . . "thought to be the first of its kind covering a company's operations throughout the country".
As Duncan Greenwood points out in his letter, Tilcon's policy applies to saving the towns and villages in the North of England from a nuisance of stray chippings and dust from lorries.
