Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

There's nothing unconventional under the cab floor. The Mercedes-Benz sixcylinder, direct-injection 0M366 engine produces 100kW (134hp) at 2,800rpm. Maximum torque of 402Nm (2961bft) at a useful 1,400rpm is transmitted via a Mer cedes G3/60-517.5 five-speed synchromesh gearbox with direct top (a sixspeed gearbox is offered as an option) to a 3.15:1 standard near axle.

Maximum speed is limited to 113kniTh (70mph) at which speed the throttle automatically closes, kicking the throttle pedal up. This is a strange sensation at first, but at least it protects the 814 from being thrashed on motorway runs, and should keep fuel consumption down and overenthusiastic drivers legal.
