tA3 HOLDUPS / Work on junction 3 of the M3, near Lightwater, has begun and will last until the end of November. Traffic will be restricted to two lanes and the junction 3 sliproads will be single lane only.

WORSLEY WAITING • Work will start tomorrow — 26 October — on the busiest section of the M62, between Eccles and Worsley (junctions 1214). The Department of Transport requests that drivers use alternative routes wherever possible.
During the construction period, which will last until at least mid-March, the slip roads at junction 13 will be closed and at junction 12, the M602 westbound link road to the eastbound M62, will be closed. Lane restrictions, hard shoulder running and overnight closures will also be enforced.

PARK LANE PARKING • Parking meters in Park Lane, London will be cancelled over the Christmas period by the traffic police and new arrangements will be introduced for coaches.
