The HA and CF light commercials make up the under 31/2-ton range from Bedford. The HA is available in 6 and 10cwt form on a common wheelbase of 2.32m (7ft 71/2in). A petrol engine of 1.26 .litres (77 cu in) is standard equipment, but two power outputs are available depending on installation in the 6 or 10cwt version. The 10cwt version, for example, is plated at 1.32 tonnes (1.3tons) and has a total body capacity of 2.5 cu m (88cu ft). A fourspeed all-synchromesh gearbox is used along with a semi-floating hypoid rear axle. The cost of this HA version is £901 ex VAT.

The CF is available in many gvw's as well as in van and chassis cab forms. The vans range from the 18cwt, which grosses 2.174tonnes (2.14tons), to the 35 cwt at 3.37tonnes (3.32tons). Petrol and diesel engines options are offered ranging from 37 to 60kW (50 to 80bhp). Two wheelbase variants are available in both van and chassis/cab form: the swb model at 2.69 m (8ft 10 in) and the longer version at 3.20 m (10ft 6 in). The 22cwt van, to single out one of the range, is plated at 2.5tonnes (2.46tons) and has a total body capacity of 6.74 cu m (238 cu ft) which is increased by 0.91 cu m (32 cu ft) if no passenger seat is fitted. Optional extras include a variety of door types and automatic transmission. The price of the 22cwt in primer is .C1285 exVAT.

The heavier 35 cwt model in chassis cab form on a 3.2m wheelbase is plated for 3.38tonnes (3.32tons) at a price excluding VAT of £1556. A ZF fivespeed gearbox is optional on this model.
