Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for East Germany diary THE German Democratic Republic has placed orders worth £1/4 m with Crane Fruehauf Ltd in the last few weeks. Following its recent announcement of a £100,000 order from the Republic for trailer parts. Crane Fruehauf has now won a £400,000 order front the GDR for 30 refrigerated van semi-trailers, which will be used to carry pig carcasses by VEB Deutrans.

These 11 m (37ft) trailers are fitted with a tandem-axle air-suspension system with self-steering rear axle supplied by Saurer of West Germany to meet East German turning circle requirements which stipulate an outer turning circle of 12m, and an inner turning circle of 6.5m.

To prevent free-wheeling on long descents, the German two-line braking system of the trailers is augmented with a Westing house electro-pneumatic brake valve which when triggered by the tractive unit's exhaust emission automatically applies a constant eight per cent of braking power by allowing that percentage Of normal air pressure to flow to the brake diaphragm cylinders.

A side door is built into the offside of the vans, and both the front and rear wall include two vent doors for drying out the van.

The front wall is reinforced to take a Westinghouse NWD 50 fridge unit.

Internally the 2.5m (8ft 2in) wide, 2.54m (8 ft 4in) high vans have a flat anodized aluminium lining, aluminium meat rails, and 400 steel meat hooks.
