LANCASHIRE VOLKSWAGEN Van Centre has struck a Um deal with Tote, the UK's fourth largest bookmaker, to supply it with a fleet of 50 commercial vehicles over the next three years.

The first vehicles have been delivered and include nine Crafter and Transporter vans. totalling £180,000, that will be used by Totepool, Tote's horseracing business, to move equipment between racecourses from its base in Wigan.

The bulk of the fleet order is expected to consist of VW Crafters, although Totepool will also take delivery of a number of Transporter and Caddy Maxi vans.

Tote fleet manager Diane Foster says: As the Tote covers the whole of the UK, the vans are vital to transport equipment between racecourses throughout the year.
