Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

New research results show career progression and earning potential of Huddersfield Transport and Logistics graduates. We have recently undertaken a salary survey of all the University of Huddersfield's 500-plus transport and logistics BSc graduates over the past 12 years. It has yielded some very good results, which we think you and your readers will find interesting.

As you may know, our degree courses have a very good employment record: over 95% of graduates have normally been in full time employment very quickly after graduation for each of the 12 years since 1998. We also have a near-100% record for third year students obtaining well paid, and relevant 12 month industrial placements.

We are always keen to raise the standards of our graduates, and the quality of the young people entering our industry. We have a problem, however, in that not enough young people or their advisors (such as parents, teachers and careers staff) know about the opportunities and good prospects that are available in the transport and logistics sector.

As many as 30-40% of our current students already have some family background in the sector, such as one of their parents working for a logistics company or owning a small transport operation. This means that any coverage we can get in the media is very important in the process of getting more, and a higher standard of, young people interested in our industry. Or Will Murray,
