a risky business, as Garth Evans from Toowoomba found out one night while driving along Condamine Highway at a place called Yuleba Creek.
A herd of cattle suddenly appeared in the glare of his headlights: Evans wrestled with his might Volvo F16, but collision was inevitable. The rig, complete with trailers, hurtled off the dusty road and rolled over.
Shaken, but OK, Evans climbed out of his wrecked Volvo cab, which took the brunt of the impact. "The Volvo cab saved my life," he said later. The cattle,possibly less impressed by their encounter with the tough Swedish truck, declined to comment.
