A PUBLIC inquiry into the proposed increases in Forth Road Bridge tolls is to be held in Edinburgh next month.
The inquiry, to he held at Lothian Region's headquarters, starts on June 26. Over 28 objections have already been received and objectors have until June 7 to submit objections to the Secretary, Scottish Development Department, New St Andrew's I louse, Edinburgh.
In the proposals, the regular user concessionary toll for goods vehicles would rise from 50p to 65p, and the standard rate would rise from 80p to l. The standard rate for light goods vehicles would rise from 30p to 40p, and a regular user concessionary rate of 36p would be introduced for light goods vehicles.
