A LARGE factory is being built in .2—k the U.S.A. by the Du Pont concern for the manufacture of two new bodywork paints for which strong claims are made. One product, known as Du Pont 100 enamel, is stated to be as hard after emerging from the baking oven as current enamels after several months'
ageing. Fr is highly resistant to blistering in wet climates.
The other paint, Lucite acrylic lacquer, has metallic powder and pigment blended together to impart depth of hoc and range of colour.
