• Express Dairy is using four new Don-Bur Numo Spacemaster refrigerated trailers with side and rear loading facilities.to deliver crated milk to retail outlets in the South-East The 12.9m bodies, which are based at South Ruislip, use refurbished Carrier EuroPhoenix fridge units. They have been fitted to existing trailers, rebuilt and lengthened by Don-Bur. The pneumatically operated sliding side doors give good side access; rear-entry offloading has been speeded up by using roller tracking on the welded chequer plate floor.
To accommodate the crated milk on stillages 45mm-thick side doors have been used to attain a 2.51m inner width within an overall width of 2.6m.
