• The use of an internally mounted Edbro DD18 tipping gear and hemi-cone rear end has enabled Metalair to build its largest tanker to date for carrying plastic granules.
The tanker is one of a pair built on RO-R air-suspended tri-axle 13.6m Weightlifter trailers for RH Stevens. Both 64m3 tankers have self-cleaning filter systems.
Filling is via the five top hatches; discharge is through an underslung hydraulic drive pack.
