Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

lkMODERNIZED singledeck Green Line coach, RF 136, began operating last week, for a short period, on London Transport's route 705 (Sevenoaks—Windsor) and will soon go into experimental service on route 704 (Tunbridge Wells—Windsor). It has been repainted in Lincoln Green with a broad pale green band, edged with aluminium beading, below the window line. The name "Green Line" is carried, in yellow, along this waistband. The pattern of the painting scheme is similar to that of the recently introduced RC coach, although the colours are not the same.

At the front, the more noticeable differences are the newly-fitted four-headlamp system and the curved windscreen. The route boards are yellow with black lettering.

The interior is fitted to the modern Green Line standards, with the type of seats used on the latest double-deck Green Line coaches, but the most notable change is in the standard of lighting, now provided by fluorescent tubes.

The main purpose of the experiment is to give a more modern look to a class of vehicle now 14 years old but in sound condition.

If RF 136 is favourably received, consideration will be given to modifying the other RF coaches to the same standard.
