VOUR-WHEEL drive versions of the Leyland Comet, converted by Scammell Lorries Ltd., are to be marketed in the UK and overseas. Three wheelbase options are 13 ft. 8+ in., 9 ft. 114 in. and 14 ft. 9+ in. and there are 12-tongross and 9-ton-gross ratings for on-the-road and off-the-road work respectively.
The 0.370 engine is standard, the 0.400 optional.
