Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NUMEROUS congratulatory letters and messages have been received since the publication of the Golden Jubilee issue of The Commercial Motor, These are greatly appreciated by all connected with this journal.

This appreciation also extends in full to those well-known advertisers who have co-operated with the journal frotn the early days, and who went to no little trouble and expense in preparing special Jubilee Number advertisements, many of which also contained felicitations.

These must have been a special source of satisfaction to Charles P. Hartrey, who has been with the journal for 39 years, 21 as its advertisement manager, and who is so popular and respected in the industry. He is assisted in the Midlands and North by Arthur G. Viggers, who himself can claim nearly 30 years of valuable service.

Whilst there have been-three editors since the inception of the journal, there have been only two men in charge of the business side. The first was J. A. Jackson, who was chief business representative until 1932, but "C.P.H." can really claim to be the first with the present title.

On pages 275-279 of the present issue will be found an illustrated report of the special luncheon which formed the official celebration of the Jubilee. As may be noted from the list of those who accepted inVitations to this function, it was representative of the high executives of our industry, as well as including prominent personalities who play a leading part in the affairs of the nation.
