ational Express buses are apparently being used by some passengers to emulate the Mile High Club — that fraternity of airline passengers who make love in-flight, causing havoc among queues for the toilet cubicles.
It seems National Express passengers choose overnight services for their amorous adventures and have been discovered by hostesses making love discreetly on the back seats. One unfortunate swain had to be freed when his tie got stuck in a reclining seat. And let's have no jokes about his good fortune that it was only a tie.
Another couple asked for help finding their shoes, which had slid down the aisle during their moment of passion. Whatever happened to "No sex please, we're British'?
