Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Leeds-based Yorkshire Rider will be the first UK operator to take Scania's 172kW (230hp) engine designed to meet Euro 1 standards — it has ordered 35 N113CR chassis with the DSCI1-71 engine and Walter Alexander single-deck bodywork.

Scania will continue to offer its predecessor, the 154-192kW (206-257bp) DS11-74 engine, until the Euro 1 regulations come into force in October 1993.

The new engine, which will go into operation with Yorkshire Rider this October, is said to be as fuel efficient as its predecessor.
