Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Originally a separate rectifier unit, incorporating a winding in the alternator, was available from Hayters Ltd, as an auxiliary power supply for the Hayter Mighty portable welding set. This is now superseded by an auxiliary power supply pack.

The power pack converts the medium frequency current to 110 or 230V dc with a maximum output of 1800W. This enables the welder to be used as a power source for a mobile workshop when operated in conjunction with equipment such as grinders, drills, saws and nutrunners, etc.

The tools are connected to the welder in the normal manner and the output of 110 or 230V is adjusted internally. The current is indicated by a neon lamp on the control panel.

Marketed by: Hayters Ltd, Spellbrook, Bishop's Stortford, Herts.

Price: E48 in the UK.
