For faster and more efficient throughput of vehicle body components, Locomotors Ltd has recently installed a press-break and guillotine manufactured by the Pearson Machine Tool Co Ltd. The 155-ton hydraulic press brake can be operated by one man and, it is claimed, can bend steel up to *in.-thick and 10ft-long under a pressure of 155 tons.

The guillotine can also be operated by one man; it will cut 71,-in.-thick sheets of aluminium and steel up to 10ft.-wide says the manufacturer.
