general manager of Hull Corporation Transport, has warned that the undertaking could be facing a very grim future. In his annual report he states that whilst annual income exceeds £1•3m, expenditure is even higher, and there was an accumulated deficit of £61,211 at the end of March. During the current year, when the full impact of the February wages award was felt, the financial position would worsen at a much faster rate, resulting in an estimated accumulated deficit of £182.870 by the end of March, next year, The decline of passengers was four per cent. compared with 1-27 per cent in the previous year. The coming introduction of parking meters might cause motorists to leave their cars at home and travel to work by bus,
