The alloy body is panelled in 18 s,w.g. sheet, insulation. is by 4 in. of expanded polyurethane, and Deleron heat arresters are interposed between the inner and outer alloy framework. The timber floor is overlaid with alloy treadplate welded to form a one-piece waterproof pan.

The articulated outfit, is a maximum-length one, the semi-trailer itself measuring 35 ft. 3 in. overall including the refrigeration unit, or 33 ft. 9 in. over the main body. It is 8 ft. 211 in. wide.
