Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HAVING as its centrepiece the Crypton portable engine tester, whichwas fully described in the issue of Thd ComMercial Motor dated May '28 last, a new electrical shop has recently been marketed by the CryPton Equipment; Ltd., .Nth Acton Road, Park Royal, London, N.W.10. An accompanying illustration shows the outfit, and it will be seen that, in addition to the engine-test unit, there is provided an electrical test bench. for full power tests, etc., which has mounted upon it a 1i b.h.p. driving motor. •

A complete repair bench also forms an important part of the equipment and this has a vice; puller-press, growler, motor-driven mica undercutter and combination pole screwdriver.

The shop, which is well-finished and has overall dimensions of 10 ft. by 7 ft., includes in a unit all that is necessary for tuning engines without a road test, locating engine, ignition and electrical faults, testing and adjusting electrical components away from the vehicle, and dismantling, repairing and reassembling them on the bench. Ample cupboard space is available for incidental equipment, and lights are provided over the benches and test unit.

The outfit should prove of special value to fleet operators, whilst service stations installing it can, in approved cases, take full advantage of their appointment as a Crypton official station. Such appointment includes free installation, free training of operatives, technical data, national adver

tising to the private motorist and commercial-vehicle owner, provision of publicity literature, inspection report forms, log books and record cards, etc.
