Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A 5.5 MILE section of the M25 from the A111 at Potters Bar to the A10 at Waltham Cross was opened by Transport Secretary Normar Fowler earlier this week.

A total of 42 miles of London's orbital route is now open to traffic with another 28 miles under construction.

"The route has been fixed for half of the remaining 50 miles, anc what I hope will be the last major public inquiry into the route is no under way at Watford," said Mr Fowler.

Work should start on the remaining sections of the motorway ir Surrey next year, with completion scheduled for 1985, • See Roadworks, p20
