A2: There are numerous roadworks between Bexleyheath an Dover, Operators should allow an extra hour for journeys to th Channel ports, as long queues build up frequently around Cante bury, A3: There are extensive road improvement works south of Guil ford between the Wooden Bridge and The Cathedral turn-off untl mid-August. Delays and serious congestion are expected.
A247: Until late July, serious delays will occur at rush hours at thc junction between Send Road and Potters Lane in Woking. This is well-used link road for traffic joining the A3 to Guildford or London.
M2: The coastbound carriageway is closed between junctions (A2) and 3 (Maidstone/Chatham), and junction 2 is also closed. Then also are consequential delays in the Medway towns, due to divertec traffic, and operators are advised to avoid the area altogether anc use the M25, M20, and A249.
M3: The coastbound carriageway is closed between junction (Guildford) and 4 (Camberley) until November 23.
M4: The following sections will be closed from 9pm to 6am eacl week on Mondays to Fridays. Between junctions 1 (Chiswick round about) and 3 (Parkway), and the westand eastbound slip road between the A4 and Chiswick roundabout.
M25: The new section between A111 to the A10 does not hay motorway status yet, and drivers of vehicles over 1.5 tons unlade, should not exceed 40mph. This section, and the A111 to Soutl Mimms section, should have motorway status by September.
