TWO MORE regional negotiating groups have agreed wage rates For hire or reward haulage drivers in their areas.
In Devon and Cornwall, where the agreement runs from February 1, 16 acrossthe-board increases takes the rate for 32.5-tonne lorries up by six per cent to 121116.60 and the rate for 35-tonners up by 5.6 per cent to 1:112.10.
In Birkenhead and the Wirral, the 32.5-tonne rare goes up by 1:6, a 5.5 per cent increase, to 1:109.50, and the rate for 38-tonners goes up by 1:5_50, a 5. l per cent increase, to 013.
