Last Monday The Financial News published a special number entitled British Export Industries and the British Industries Fair." It was a notable achievement, for not only was the introduction printed in every important language in the world, but all the articles dealing with the recovery of the British export trade were reproduced in Dutch, French, German and Spanish. One of the articles treats with the progress in the export of British private cars and commercial vehicles. It points out that for the first 11 months of 1934, the favourable trade balance for all motor vehicles and parts was £1,600,000.
