A S reported in The Commercial Motor, November 6, Copenhagen Tramways has introduced a new token system of fare collection on the p.a.y.e. singledeckers now being introduced in the Danish capital. An illustration here shows the single ticket for immediate journey and two of the five tokens for future journeys issued by the driver on payment of five kroner. One of the electrically operated Bell Punch Autoslot Mk. II token-operated ticket issuing machines mounted at the entrance to the buses is seen in another photograph, Single-journey tickets are also available. for immediate journey only, at a cost of one kroner. The ticket issuing and token machines are manufactured by Bell Punch Co. Ltd., Uxbridge, Middlesex.
