Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TO have self-sufficiency and mobility suggests an enviable combination of staunch virtue and sagacity, and indicates an infinite capacity for work. These qualifications can be applied dramatically to the members of The Century mobile theatre.

Incidentally, the 17 members of the Century company (10 are players) have also a knowledge of building vehicles, of the practical aspects of transport and of assembling temporary structures that would put to shame many who devote their working lives,to these things alone. They all , draw a similar rate of pay.

The four special 33-ft. trailers for the lightalloy theatre structure, as well as the structure itself, were designed and built by three of the founder-members of the company. Living quarters are mounted on three 22-ft. trailers, based on ex-R.A.F, equipment, and the seven remaining trailers of the same type, and two converted single-deck buses, are used for the kitchen, dining car and administrative offices. The four tractors are Crossley ex-R.A.F. 4 x 4 units with side water tanks, and the fleet is completed by two similar prime movers which carry an oilengined and two petrol-engined charging plants.

The theatre was ready for the road in September, 1952, And during the 1953 season performances were given at 25 centres, including towns in the Midlands and as far north as Birkenhead. Headquarters of the theatre are in Hinckley, Leicestershire. P.A.C.B.
