Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A few weeks ago we published an illustration of a 1-ton Morris-RoadlessTraction lorry which was engaged on certain demonstration work; and we now

learn that Morris Commercial Cars, Ltd., have recently produced a batch of such vehicles with a view to exploring the possibilities of certain markets that undoubtedly exist for vehicles of this type. The company estimate that it will be possible to produce the MorrisRoadless-Traction vehicle at a figure of approximately £500, a double-reduction gear being included in the speeWcation, in addition to the ordinary three-speed gear _which is standard on the cOmPanY's 1-ton chassis.

We.reproduce a further illustration of the machine on this page, where it is to be seen undergoing a demonstration near Aldershot held under the auspices of the EmPire Cotton Growers Association.

• The vehicle was also demonstrated one day last week lit< the vicinity of Birmingham.
