Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• "Auctions have tended to look after buyers very poorly, and that's something we intend to alter," says Mike Gray, CV sales director at Fleet Auction Group (FAG). "We're bringing a new level of service to the industry,"

The changes are being implemented at FAG's new £5m, purpose-built, 52-acre auction complex at Coalville in Leicestershire. "We're providing buyers with a prompt registration service—they won't have to queue for hours—and any trucks they've bought are taken to a collection point for them to pick up," he says. "The food is decent too. What's more, they're able to bid for vehicles under cover, and in comfortable, clean, and peaceful surroundings." Bidding takes place in a 10o-seater hall that can double as a conference venue. A picture of each truck for sale is displayed on a screen behind the auctioneer as it comes under the hammer in lot-number order.

There are no movements of trucks on sale days. "Several people have been injured at auctions over the years by drivers manoeuvring vehicles," he says. Truck sales take place every other Tuesday, while van sales take place every other Wednesday. Sales start at 55:oohrs.
