Independent CV workshops are set to benefit from changes to the Block Exemption regulations. "The European Commission's latest draft regulation, to apply from 1 October, will oblige vehicle manufacturers not only to make technical information available to independent repairers, but also training, tools, and equipment," says Retail Motor Industry Federation chief executive, David Evans. It will be possible for such workshops to be appointed as 'authorised repairers'.
