At the lighter end of the market, the biggest draw is likely to be an the Ford stand, where its short -wheelbase Transit Connect will be seen In public for the first time. Also on hand to test the water will be the crew-cab Transit.

The Vauxhal: stand will star the long-wheelbase version of the Vivara, newly on-sale in the UK, along with the Combo high-cube van. Renault Vans' display of five vans will include a Durisotti-converted Master with a load length over 4.2m.

The Serel partnership of CroUn. Fat and Peugect will all be showing their new large van range to British buyers, Each will have some attractions of their awn, including the Fiat's common-rail-ertgined Dottie JTD, Peugeot's 1.4HDi 206 van and some special-bodied ettrodn Relays from the likes of Fame and Bohai.

The dozen Toyotas on show, all with the new common-rail D-AD engines, will include a Dyna tipper from Hydromech and a lightweight aluminium dropside from ingimex.
