COUNCILLORS in the London Borough of Enfield look set to reject a proposal from a private operator for a coach park.

Davian Coaches of Enfield had applied for permission to use a former refuse tip in Winchmore Hill as a coach park, but the council's planning committee has rejected the proposal, and is expected to get full support at the next full council meeting next month.

OPERATORS may have found one of last week's stories misleading. The story headlined Not Playing the Game (p21) should have begun "The Government has reminded coach operators and tour organisers that the rules governing international coach operators are likely to be enforced in some European countries this summer".
